Renovation of a beautiful 18th-century mansion, Versailles

Renovation including interior design and decoration for a 400 m2 mansion in Versailles

The objectives

Located in a historic town in western Paris, this beautiful 18th-century residence was a little outdated for the new owners’ tastes.

Our mission was to refurbish and decorate the house in a contemporary design with top-of-the-range services.

Our solutions

The entrance hall was transformed and made more welcoming with the installation of a stone-look porcelain stoneware floor, a new look for the staircase, designer lighting and an English designer armchair.

In the living room, the new fireplace was custom-designed by us in an art deco style around an insert. We also designed a discreet, graphic bookcase to showcase the client’s decorative items. The parquet flooring was chosen in asymmetrical strips of aged oak to highlight a composition of Italian design furniture and lighting where marble, brass, walnut, velvet and silk bring comfort and elegance.

The family kitchen, which combines walnut and ceramics, has found its place in the new extension created in the form of a glass roof opening onto the magnificent garden. The old kitchen has been converted into an audio/video room.

Upstairs, the master suite has been refitted with a bespoke dressing room and designer lighting.

The stylistic note
