Renovation and Fitting of a Kitchen in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Yvelines

The project

An open kitchen redesigned in harmony with nature

The objectives

In this home located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, our mission was to renovate a large open-plan kitchen to create a warm, functional living space that visually connects to the surrounding natural environment. The goal was to maximize natural light and design a kitchen that is both contemporary and timeless.

Our solutions

Taking full advantage of the room’s south-facing orientation, we used natural light as the foundation for the entire renovation. The cabinetry was crafted with dark green Fenix fronts—a deep, elegant tone that subtly echoes the garden visible from the kitchen. To balance and soften the space, touches of light oak were incorporated, adding warmth and a natural feel.

At the heart of the kitchen stands a large central island in Dekton, which serves as the focal point of the layout. It allows cooking while facing the living area, thanks to a cooktop with integrated extractor. Both practical and stylish, the island also features a table-height extension, ideal for breakfast, casual meals, or simply spending time with family.

To complete this natural and contemporary atmosphere, we selected a geometric wallpaper with clean lines, along with decorative pendant lights that bring the final touch to the kitchen’s visual identity.

The stylistic note

A kitchen designed for indoor-outdoor living
