Our client was looking for an interior designer in Maisons-Laffitte after acquiring a charming house on a beautiful, wooded plot in the Yvelines region. Although the house had architectural appeal, its atmosphere and the existing decor did not reflect the client’s taste or lifestyle.
One of the main requests was to transform the living room by replacing a dominant fireplace with a more discreet insert, harmoniously integrated into a custom-designed TV unit. The client desired a refined, contemporary, and personalized interior.
Since our client had a strong appreciation for blue tones, we chose to make this color the central theme of the project. As an interior architect in Yvelines, we delivered a fully customized, turnkey service—from color consulting to complete execution, including the selection of wall coverings (paint and wallpaper), flooring, furniture, lighting, and curtains.
The living room was completely redesigned with the creation of a bespoke TV unit that integrates an elegant fireplace insert, both conceived and crafted by our cabinetmaker following our custom plans. This discreet and functional piece of furniture fits perfectly into the desired atmosphere: understated, warm, and sophisticated.
Upstairs, we designed a large, made-to-measure wardrobe at the entrance to the master bedroom, offering a stylish and well-adapted storage solution.
The central staircase was also transformed with subtle yet effective updates: a new wallpaper was applied, and the handrail and risers were repainted to create a cohesive, contemporary look.
