Interior design and decoration of a 400 m2 listed residence in Versailles
Located in a historical city in the west of Paris, this beautiful house dating from the XVIIIth century was a bit old-fashioned for the new owners' taste.
Our mission was to refurbish and decorate the house in a contemporary design with very nice high end services.
The entrance hall was transformed and made more welcoming with the installation of a stone-look porcelain stoneware floor, with the relooking of the staircase, the installation of design lighting and an English designer armchair.
In the living room the new fireplace was custom designed by us in an art deco spirit around an insert. We also designed a graphic and discreet bookcase to highlight the decorative objects of the customers. The choice of the parquet floor was made with asymmetrical aged oak strips to highlight a composition of furniture and lighting of Italian design where marble, brass, walnut, velvet and silk bring comfort and elegance.
The family kitchen, which combines walnut and ceramics, has found its place in the new extension created in the form of a glass roof opening onto the magnificent garden. The old kitchen has been transformed into an audio/video room.
Upstairs, the master suite has been refurbished with a custom dressing room and designer fixtures.
