Interior design and decoration of a 120 m2 house
The first floor of this house lacked character and charm. The space in general was cluttered and not very ergonomic.
Our mission was to do a total makeover of the house to make it more functional, more comfortable and modern for a family with three children.
We decided to open a large window of 4,50 m onto the garden, replacing two narrow windows. We did also rebuild a wall to optimize the space planning.
We replaced the old fireplace by a contemporary built-in fireplace and create wooden niches on each side.
All cupboards and sliding doors are bespoke.
The kitchen has doubled in size and is now open to the living room. We chose colours and material which give a warm and cosy feeling as well as a graphic effect, such as the old cement tiles combined with oak planks in the kitchen and the hall, the black and blue black colours.
The result: A graphic and modern makeover.
