Decoration of a country house in Monfort Lamaury

This country house located west of Paris was very dark and rustic with its beams, tiles and especially its big brick fireplace.

Our mission for this country house interior design was to create a warmer and brighter atmosphere. We chose to replace the fireplace with a cast iron model from Focus and covered the old tiles with large taupe colored porcelain tiles. We also repainted the beams and completely redesigned the lighting.
The decoration was done in neutral tones and a contemporary style with Italian design furniture, light fixtures and carpets in taupe and beige shades.
